To print Etsy shipping labels on your Rollo, buy the label on Etsy and print it from a web browser on your computer with your Rollo selected as the printer. The direct Etsy connection inside Rollo Ship is currently unavailable because of an Etsy policy change, so printing straight from Etsy is the recommended method.
1, In Etsy, go to Orders and check the box for the order (or orders) you want to ship.
2. Buy the shipping label through Etsy.
3. When Etsy asks for a label format, choose the 4 x 6 inch option. If the label is generated as an 8.5 x 11 inch page, it will print tiny or on only half the label.
4. Print the label. In the print window, select your Rollo as the destination printer.
5. Confirm the paper or label size in the print window is 4 x 6 inches, then print.
6. You can select several orders at once. Batches of Etsy labels print one after another with no pauses.
* This also works for labels bought anywhere else (for example, directly from USPS). Just select the Rollo as the destination printer and choose the correct label size before printing.
Printing from the Etsy Seller app (known limitation)
Printing directly from the Etsy Seller app on a phone does not always reach the Rollo. On the wireless Rollo, a common symptom is the light flashing purple, then returning to blue with nothing printed. If that happens:
1. Download the label from the Etsy app instead of printing it directly, and save the file.
2. Open the saved label file and print it, with the Rollo selected as the printer.
3. If it still will not print, log out of your Etsy account, log back in, and try again.
4. Test the printer itself by printing the sample label from rollo.com/sample. If the sample prints, your Rollo is working, and the problem is on the Etsy side.
Why Etsy is missing from Rollo Ship (selling channel unavailable)
Etsy updated its policy and no longer allows some third-party shipping services to retrieve order information. Because of this change:
1. Etsy is currently not offered as a selling channel in Rollo Ship. If you disconnected your Etsy shop, you will not see an option to add it back.
2. If your shop was connected before and orders stopped updating or syncing, this policy change is the likely reason. It is not a problem with your account or your printer.
3. There is no setting that restores the connection, and older reconnect steps (refreshing markets, removing and re-adding the channel) no longer apply while the integration is unavailable.
4. Rollo's team is working with Etsy on a solution, but there is no timeline yet. In the meantime, buy your labels on Etsy and print them using the browser steps above.
