If your Rollo prints fine from Chrome or another browser but not from a desktop app (Adobe Reader, a marketplace app, design software), the printer and driver are working. The problem is almost always which printer entry the app is sending to, or a stuck print job. Work through the checks below in order.

Check which printer the app is using

1. In the app, open the print dialog and look at the selected printer.

2. Make sure it is the Rollo Printer, not another printer, a PDF printer, or an old duplicate entry.

3. Windows sometimes creates a duplicate like "Rollo Printer (Copy 1)" after the printer is re-added or moved to a new USB port. Jobs sent to the old entry never print. Open Control Panel, then Devices and Printers, remove the stale Rollo entries, and print to the one that remains.

4. On Mac, open System Settings, then Printers \& Scanners, and remove any duplicate Rollo entries the same way.

Clear stuck print jobs

1. Open your printer queue (on Windows: Settings, then Bluetooth \& devices, then Printers \& scanners, select the Rollo, then open the print queue) and cancel every pending job.

2. On Windows, reset the print spooler, type cmd in the search box and Run it as administrator,in the Command Prompt window, type the following commands separately: net stop spooler then press enter, type: del %systemroot%\\System32\\spool       \\printers\\\* /Q /F /S then press enter, lastly, type: net start spooler. This will clear all of your print jobs stuck in a queue.

3. Restart your computer, then try printing from the app again.

Print the label as a PDF

1. Save or download your label as a PDF file. PDF gives the most reliable print quality on Rollo.

2. Open the PDF in Adobe Reader and print from there, selecting the Rollo Printer and your label size (4 x 6 for shipping labels).

3. If the app cannot export a PDF, printing the label page from Chrome is a dependable fallback. Some browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, can override the printer's own settings, so if output looks rotated or shifted, check the orientation setting in the print dialog.

Reinstall the driver if the app cannot see the printer

If the desktop app says the driver is unavailable, or the Rollo is missing from the app's printer list while the browser still prints:

1. Unplug the printer's USB cable from your computer.

2. Open Control Panel, then Uninstall a Program, and uninstall the Rollo driver.

3. Restart your computer.

4. Download and reinstall the driver from rollo.com/setup-usb.

5. Reconnect the USB cable, ideally to a different USB port, and test with the sample label at rollo.com/sample.
