Rollo printers work with Windows and Mac, and the wireless model, is compatible with Chromebook and also prints from iPhone and Android. Rollo prints standard shipping labels from any platform or marketplace that can generate one, and Rollo Ship connects directly to popular selling channels like eBay, Amazon, Shopify, and Square.

Which operating systems does Rollo support?

Windows. (USB Rollo and Wireless Rollo): Rollo works with current versions of Windows, including Windows 11. Download the driver from rollo.com/setup. One thing to check: if your PC is in Windows S Mode, the driver will not install or run. Turn off S Mode first (Microsoft has a guide for this in Windows Settings), then install the Rollo driver. You do not need to turn S Mode back on afterward. Leaving it off lets the Rollo driver keep working.

Mac. (USB Rollo and Wireless Rollo):  Rollo works with macOS. Download and install the Rollo driver from rollo.com/setup, then add the printer in System Preferences (or System Settings) under Printers and Scanners using the plus sign, or click add printer.

Chromebook. Wireless Rollo is an AirPrint certified device, and it works with all operating systems including iPad, iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Chromebook, Linux, and more!

Can I print from my iPhone, iPad, or Android device?

Yes, with the Wireless Rollo, set it up through the Rollo app on your phone.

In the app:

1. Tap the menu, choose Rollo printer, then Setup Printer.

2. Make sure your phone and the printer are on the same Wi-Fi network, and on the same band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz). Android phones and tablets, including Samsung devices, are supported through the same app.

The USB Rollo connects by USB cable to a Windows or Mac computer only. It does not support wireless printing from a phone. If you need to print from a phone, the Wireless Rollo is the right choice. A Wi-Fi adapter accessory for the wired model has been offered in the past, but availability is limited, so check the Rollo shop or ask support before planning on it.

Does Rollo work with FedEx, UPS and USPS?

Yes. Rollo prints labels from carrier software such as FedEx Ship Manager, and Rollo Ship lets you buy discounted UPS and USPS labels directly.

One note if you connect your own FedEx account to Rollo Ship: FedEx accounts set to cash-only cannot be billed through third-party platforms. If you see an error like "Customer is cash only," contact FedEx Customer Support and ask them to enable automated or third-party (API/electronic) billing on your account. Then reconnect the account in Rollo Ship and try again.

Which marketplaces and stores connect to Rollo Ship?

Rollo Ship integrates with selling channels including eBay, Amazon, Shopify, Square, and other popular Selling Channels so your orders import automatically.

For Square specifically: only new, unfulfilled orders sync into Rollo Ship. If an order is missing, confirm it was created directly in Square and is still unfulfilled. You can always use Create Quick Shipment in Rollo Ship to make a label manually while you sort out a missing order.

Can I create labels in bulk from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Rollo Ship supports CSV upload for creating many labels at once, which is handy when you ship the same package to a long list of addresses. The upload uses a strict template, so download and follow the Rollo Ship CSV template exactly. You can also save a package preset so you do not have to re-enter package details each time.

Are there any account requirements for Rollo Ship?

Rollo Ship does not support anonymous or blacklisted email domains (for example, Proton Mail addresses). Sign up with a standard email provider such as Gmail or Yahoo.

Do I have to use Rollo brand labels?

Rollo does not require proprietary labels. You can use any compatible direct thermal labels with your Rollo printer. However, please note that the performance of third-party labels cannot be guaranteed.
