You can print labels from an iPhone or iPad to the Rollo Wireless (X1040) once the printer and your device are on the same WiFi network. Save your label as a PDF, open it on your device, tap Print, and choose your Rollo.

Before you start

1. The Wireless Rollo must already be connected to the same WiFi network as your iPhone or iPad.

2. Install the latest Rollo app from the App Store. If the app is already installed, check the App Store for an update. Older versions cause login and printing problems.

Print a label

1. Save your shipping label as a PDF file. Most selling channels let you download the label as a PDF.

2. Open the PDF on your iPhone or iPad, for example in the Files app.

3. Tap the Share icon, then tap Print.

4. Select your Rollo printer. The printer normally detects the correct label size on its own.

5. Tap Print.

Only 4x6 shows as a size option, or the size is wrong

If your label size does not appear in the print menu, the printer has not learned your label size. Calibrate it first:

1. Turn off the Rollo using the switch on the back.

2. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet and wait at least 2 minutes.

3. While waiting, open the printer head, remove the labels, then close the head.

4. Plug the power adapter back into the wall outlet and turn the Rollo on with the back switch.

5. Feed the labels in from the back of the printer.

6. Press and hold the square button until you hear one beep, then release. The labels will move back and forth and stop at the tear off point. A couple of blank labels may feed out, which is normal. You can re-feed them.

7. Print again and check that the correct size now appears. If you use a non-standard size, add it as a custom label size in the app after calibrating.

Can't sign into the Rollo app

1. Uninstall the Rollo app, then reinstall the latest version from the App Store.

2. Open the app and tap Forgot Password.

3. Enter your email address and tap Reset Password.

4. Check your inbox for the reset email. Check your spam folder too.

5. Create a new password. It needs at least 7 characters, one number, one uppercase letter, and one lowercase letter, and it cannot match your last 3 passwords.

6. A window will ask for a one-time verification code. Get the code from your email , enter it, and tap Continue.

7. Sign in with your new password.

Check your printer inside the app

To confirm the app sees your printer, open the Rollo app, tap Menu, then Rollo Printer. Your X1040 should be listed as the default printer. Tap Settings next to it to view its network details.
