Purolator is a connect-your-own-account courier in Rollo Ship.

Connect your Purolator account once, and Purolator services appear on the compare screen alongside Canada Post, UPS Canada, and FedEx Canada for Canada-origin shipments. Rates come from your own Purolator account. Canada Post and UPS are built-in services with discounts offered.

To get started, join Rollo Ship for free from Canada: https://ship.rollo.com/signup, then add your Purolator account number and credentials in carrier settings.

You do not need a Rollo Ship subscription, and there is no monthly shipping minimum.

Purolator shipping costs

There are two separate costs, and it helps to keep them apart.

Purolator postage is whatever your own Purolator account is set up to pay. Rollo Ship does not add to it or negotiate it — the rate you see on the compare screen is the rate your account returns, based on the destination, weight, dimensions, and service you pick.

The Rollo Ship label fee is separate. Your first 200 labels have a $0 service fee. After that, labels are 5¢ each, dropping to as low as 1¢ at the VIP tier of Rollo Rewards. Every Purolator shipment earns Rollo Rewards points.

Rollo Ship calculates dimensional weight from the measurements you enter, so the Purolator rate you see at label creation reflects the same dimensions Purolator will bill against.

Printing Purolator shipping labels

You do not need Purolator's own shipping software to print the label.

Buy it in Rollo Ship and print it directly.

Rollo Ship works with any compatible printer. A Purolator label is a standard 4×6 image, so any inkjet, laser, or thermal printer produces a valid one — print on plain paper and use tape or a pouch, or print an adhesive label on a 4×6 thermal printer.

Every label stays in your shipment history. If a print job jams or a label tears, reprint it from the same record at no extra charge. Void any label you will not use, so it is not billed to your Purolator account.

Purolator services

What appears depends on your account

Services commonly available on a connected Purolator account include:

  • Purolator Express — including the timed 9 AM, 10:30 AM and 12 PM delivery windows
  • Purolator Express Box, Envelope and Pack — flat-packaging options
  • Purolator Ground — including Ground Distribution
  • Purolator Quick Ship
  • US and international variants of the Express and Ground services

Which services you see, and at what rate, is determined by your Purolator account and by the lane. If a service is missing from the compare screen, your account is not set up to sell it on that route. Delivery commitments are Purolator's own.

FAQ

Do I need my own Purolator account?

Yes. Purolator is connect-your-own in Rollo Ship. Canada Post and UPS Canada are built in for Canada-origin shipments; Purolator and FedEx require an account you connect.

Can I use Purolator from a US origin?

Purolator is a Canadian courier. From the United States, compare USPS, UPS, and connected FedEx.

Why is a Purolator service or rate missing?

Your Purolator account or the lane may not allow it. The compare screen shows only what your connected account can sell on that route.

Who bills me for Purolator postage?

Purolator bills postage to your own account under your existing terms. Rollo Ship charges only the label service fee, which is $0 for your first 200 labels and 5¢ after that.
