No, for USPS, UPS, and Canada Post. Yes, for FedEx and Purolator. UPS requires a quick activation inside Rollo Ship, not a new account.
USPS and UPS are built into Rollo Ship for U.S. shippers, and Canada Post and UPS are built in for Canadian shippers, so you can compare discounted rates and buy labels without opening an account on any carrier website.
FedEx and Purolator are bring-your-own-account: connect the account you already have, and Rollo Ship shows your own negotiated rates, with no Rollo discount.
1. Which carriers are built in and which need your own account
| Ship from | Built in, with discounted rates | Bring your own account |
|---|---|---|
| United States | USPS, UPS® | FedEx® |
| Canada | Canada Post, UPS® | FedEx®, Purolator® |
Built-in carriers are ready as soon as you create your free account. UPS needs to be activated only once per Rollo Ship account; if a UPS rate shows Activate UPS instead of Buy label, complete the prompt once and buy postage as usual.
2. What bring-your-own-account means for FedEx and Purolator
- You link the FedEx or Purolator account you already have. Rollo Ship does not resell or discount these rates.
- The rates you see are your own negotiated rates, and the services you see are the ones your account and the lane allow.
- When you buy a FedEx or Purolator label in Rollo Ship, you pay for it from your prepaid Rollo Ship Wallet.
- The Rollo Ship label fee still applies: no label fee on your first 200 labels with any carrier, then 5¢ per label, down to 1¢ with Rollo Rewards. See Rollo Ship per-label fees.
No FedEx account yet? You can open one on fedex.com and connect it afterwards. Purolator is a Canadian courier, available only on Canadian accounts, not U.S. accounts.
3. How to connect FedEx or Purolator
- Sign in at ship.rollo.com (or create a free account).
- Open your Connections - Shipping Carriers - choose FedEx or Purolator.
- Enter your account number and credentials, then save.
- Start a shipment with + CREATE QUICK SHIPMENT. FedEx or Purolator services now show on the Summary screen next to the built-in carriers.

Connect your own FedEx or Purolator account once.
4. Compare built-in and connected carriers
On the Summary screen, you can compare rates side by side and sort by best value, lowest price, or fastest delivery. Discounts can reach up to 90% off. Connected carriers show your own negotiated rates. Rates can change, and a carrier can re-rate a label after purchase if the actual weight or dimensions differ from what you entered.
