USPS® and UPS® are built in for U.S. accounts, and Canada Post and UPS® are built in for Canadian accounts, with discounted rates. You don't need accounts on their websites. UPS requires a quick activation. FedEx® and Purolator are connect-your-own-account carriers: you ship on your own negotiated rates, with no Rollo discount, and pay for those labels from your prepaid Rollo Ship Wallet.

What it costs
Start without a card: creating an account and comparing rates are free. Rollo Ship is not a carrier. You pay postage to the carrier for the service you choose, from your prepaid Rollo Ship Wallet, which you fund only when you are ready to print. Funding by bank transfer (ACH) earns 3x Rewards points, with no fees; funding by card earns 1x points and has higher fees.
Your first 200 labels have no label fee; you still pay carrier postage on those. After that, the label fee follows your Rollo Rewards level:

Rollo Rewards

Printers
A Rollo printer is not required. Rollo Ship works with any compatible printer. The Rollo X1040 wireless and X1038 USB thermal label printers also work independently of Rollo Ship. For the smoothest workflow, use Rollo Ship with Rollo printers, labels, and mailers. Ship from your phone with the free Rollo app, or print over WiFi with a Rollo Wireless printer.

Is Rollo Ship a carrier?
No. Rollo Ship is shipping software. USPS, UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, and Purolator move the packages. You buy their postage in Rollo Ship, paid from your funded wallet. Rollo Ship handles rate comparison, labels, order import, and tracking; the carrier handles pickup, transit, and delivery.
Is Rollo Ship free?
There is no monthly subscription and no sign-up fee. Creating an account and comparing rates cost nothing. You always pay carrier postage. A label fee applies after your first 200 labels: 5¢, dropping to 1¢ at the VIP level of Rollo Rewards.
